Our Story

Owner’s Message

Our story begins in 1980 when I had a vision for a family home which differed significantly from anything seen in Dubai at the time. Having nurtured four generations of the Al Jallaf family for almost forty years, I knew my dream was far bigger than just a house! The care for my community, health, and wellness was the inspiration for what we now know as Bedaya. In English, this translates to “beginning”.

The Bedaya family will now carry the torch of wellness, serving the wider community, aiming to spread happiness through health.

Abdulrahman Abdulla Al Jallaf

Founder’s Message

After many years of professional and personal relationships with so many dear members of the Al Jallaf family, Abdul Rahman (endearingly referred to as Abouya) offered Sean and me an opportunity for a new beginning. He knew us. He knew firsthand our sincere commitment to promoting the health and well-being of all our patients. After 15 years of being in Dubai, and as part of a type of new beginning for us, he graciously gave up his magnificent family home of nearly 40 years to develop Bedaya – an old place for fresh starts in healthcare. Our hope is that we make him proud and that Bedaya goes on to truly deliver the kind of service that both The Wellness Brothers and the Al Jallaf Family know to be needed for a successful journey to better health and optimal well-being.

The Wellness Brothers

Co-Founder’s Message

It was the journey of motherhood that ignited the spark for a greater appreciation of health and well-being, leading me on the path to The Wellness Brothers. After sixteen years under their guidance, it was an obvious choice when questioning who would fulfill my father’s vision in navigating our family home to serve the wider community. Bedaya was conceived out of knowledge, guidance, and experience luring top practitioners within their fields. This unusual collection of practitioners are the culmination and expression of my personal wellness journey.

It was with wholehearted determination that I oversaw the transition of our family home, and realization of my father’s dream, into the communities home for health and wellbeing.
